Pooja Popat is a Physiotherapist who completed a Master’s in Preventive and Community Rehabilitation in 2015. She has experience working across private practice, residential aged care, and community rehabilitation settings in Australia. Pooja has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, rehabilitation, and supporting individuals with neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s disease. She also provides care for neck and back pain, balance concerns, falls prevention, and post-injury recovery.
Pooja takes a patient-centred and collaborative approach, focusing on understanding each person’s goals and lifestyle. She incorporates evidence-based physiotherapy alongside exercise therapy, including Pilates and yoga, to support safe and sustainable recovery. Her additional training in women’s health, prenatal care, and movement-based therapies allows her to tailor rehabilitation programs to a wide range of needs.
She is committed to helping clients improve mobility, strength, and overall function through personalised treatment plans and education. Outside of work, Pooja enjoys travelling, reading, painting, and spending time with her family.
